Joining a student-led club or society is a fun way to meet new people and this year there are nearly 200 to choose from. So, whether you’re a sports lover, gamer or Bake Off fan, there’s .

Dates for your diary

Here are just some of the exciting events that take place throughout the year:

  • When you arrive on campus in September you can join the various Welcome Week actitivities, discover socities you’ll love and meet new friends.
  • In March we host One World Week, with events that celebrate the diverse cultures at Sussex.
  • The Brighton Marathon Weekend takes place in April, where runners of all ages and abilities get on the move.
  • May is festival season, with Brighton Festival, Brighton Fringe and The Great Esacpe music festival all taking place across various venues in Brighton.
  • Show off your colours in August with the UK’s biggest Pride festival – an all-singing, all dancing extravaganza.
