Discovering Collections, Discovering Communities Conference 2016
and have announced that registration is now open for this year’s – Collections, connections, collaborations: From potential to impact.
The conference will be held at The Lowry, Pier 8, Salford Quays, Manchester, M50 3AZ on 10th - 12th October 2016.
This year’s conference will bring together more than 70 speakers to explore the varied and innovative ways in which archives, museums, libraries, and academia can help realise the potential of collections and translate this into social, cultural, and economic impact.
Keynote speakers include:
- DBE CMG (Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills ,jointly with the Department of Culture, Media and Sport) and Minister for Intellectual Property [subject to Parliamentary business].
