Research

My research interests lie in the field Ìýof International Politics and History. I specialise inÌýrecent US foreign policy and have published two books on America’s role in international affairs. I have also worked for almost ten years on Ìý secondment at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, as a senior analyst.ÌýMy current research arises from a Leverhulme Foundation Major Fellowship on the US relations with Emerging Powers. ÌýI also have research interests in British foreign policy and in domestic American Politics and have published a book on US race relations.
