You will identify, explore and communicate an evidence-informed, small-scale research project on an approved issue in a field of your choice.

You’ll be guided through the design, development and application of a context-specific research project. You will complete an evaluation and report on the findings in a dissertation at the end of the project.

Your specialist knowledge will be developed through systematic enquiry and applying different research methods, such as a case study or action research. You will understand how the research might reveal, enlighten and improve policy and practice.
